Sorry that this probably isn't the best pattern.
I'm uploading a tutorial soon so you can use it:

Just a tip. My horses are about 40 cm tall and 30 cm long. This is the minimum size you can sew them. Any smaller than that and it becomes practically impossible to turn the legs inside out - OR I'd have to change the leg size and I'd spoil the proportions.
You can of course do bigger - I'm not sure how this is going to print out. All the pieces, however, should be the right size in relation to each other. I didn't resize them when I was scanning or anything.
It would be interesting to see someone sew one of my horses REALLY BIG.

If you use this pattern please credit me and link me! If you want to repost this on any other site or repost your horse on any other site, please credit and link me as well.
Please don't use this for commercial purposes because it took me a lot of time to make. Besides you'd be a bit of a fool, because unless you've got an army of slaves to do your sewing, it's way too much work for the returns you'd get.
That is all.

Thank you so much for your pattern & your skill and for going to the effort to clarify your method. I am a mixed media assemblage artist and am doing a horse series which will include some 3-d horse-head portraits. While I already have several patterns in case I want to include a sewn & stuffed head, just seeing your pattern was helpful in thinking about how I want to organize the heads. I am currently learning to mold so that I can cast the pieces I want, but again your pattern/tutorial is helpful there as well, seeing your approach to the shapes. Also, I so appreciate images of horses that are not "cutesy"--I'm sure you know what I mean.

Here is a link to some of the digital work I've done with horses: [link]

I'm about to do some items to raise money for German Shepherd rescue--have you any pattern for a German Shepherd head?

Thank you again.
I'm glad it was useful for you.
I don't currently have a pattern for a german shepherd but I suppose it would be possible for me to make one

I am doing a soft sculpture project for my 3d design class. I got the dragon in the story but I needed the unicorn. Its a plush reenactment of a scene of a story where the unicorn gains free passage for her herd from the dragons. Thanks so much.
