Sorry, had to chop it up. It seems DeviantArt doesn't like 16000 pixel files :crying:

Hope you find it useful. Part 1 is here:

this is just too awesome! XD Hey just a question, I see you've hand stitched most of it, is machine sewing possible? Er and what kind of seam allowance did you go for?

I think I need a hug...
:iconludicrouslouisa:
It miiiight be possible to machine stitch some of it but attaching the pieces (because often they need to be stuffed beforehand) would be pretty much impossible. Personally I'd say stick to hand sewing - but if you want to try for machine you might have to enlarge the horse somewhat to make it easier, or sew with a tiny seam allowance. This has a seam allowance of 2.5 millimetres. On a machine I'd say you'd have to have at least 5 millimetres. 2.5mm is pretty much what's covered with a regular handsewing overstitch.
If you make this on a machine, let me know because I'd be interested to see how it works out.

No machine this time around, I'll see how a small one goes - and if it's ok I'll try a bigger one with a machine!

The legs are hard... turning them right way out is like making it give birth to itself!

Yeah, tell me about it :P
I figured that that was about as small as was possible without having to make them sewn with the stitching on the outside.
