Artist's Comments

I made a mexican-ish red and turquoise skirt. It has two tone buttons down the front, gold, blue and white lace, two layers of pleats on the back and ruffles on the front, not to mention piping on the pockets and an embroidered pinecone. No one can say I am subtle!

This was a great fun project - using up scraps (I bought the red fabric last year for god knows what and finally found a use for it), and just making it up as I went along.
There may be more close up photos of this later.
BTW - it was freezing when we took the photos...I had to put a jumper on as soon as we finished.

Great series of photos! Didn't even notice the feathers at first because the wall is so bright :P

Wish I had a colourful graffiti'd wall around where I live that I could use as a photo backdrop. I'm hazard to create one myself as it wouldn't go down well in the eyes of the law.

Yeah, it's funny, how the yellow and the blue and the green feathers JUST happen to blend into the wall :)
This wall was two sided; blue-ish graffiti on one side, and reddish on the other side.
We are always trying to look for new and interesting places to take photos - much easier in summer because you can be out for longer without freezing to death!

hey, about that, i had a dream that i went out riding this white old fashioned bike around these narrow streets with white wash houses. it was ment to be greece and sydney combined i think. but i know that i was there to look for places for a shoot. thanks for reminding me of it. :)

Groove. If only we could go somewhere like that for a shoot :O
Some time when we have more time and money we have to go to Sydney or Melbourne for a sexy shoot :P or Barcelona (obviously we'd do other things there too. Barcelona is WIN.)
